Cannabis Tempura

  • ½ teaspoon water-soluble CBD concentrate*
  • 4 teaspoons salt
  • 2 cups cold water
  • 1 cup cake flour
  • Rice bran oil as needed**
  • 8 to 10 cannabis leaves, any size

Add CBD concentrate to the salt and mix well; set aside. Mix cold water into cake flour until it reaches the consistency of light batter; careful not to overmix. Chill until ready to use.

Heat the rice bran oil to 340 F. Evenly coat leaves with batter. Fry for about 3 minutes. Place on a wire rack to cool then carefully drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt while they’re still hot. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
