Carrots for Days
4 to 5 carrots, peeled and roughly chopped
2 to 3 inches ginger, peeled and diced
1/3 cup CBD honey syrup, recipe follows
Splash of high-quality tonic water
Remove pith from the lemons, halve horizontally and remove seeds. Combine lemons with 4 cups water, carrots and ginger in a blender and process on high for 60 to 90 seconds until mixture is completely liquefied.
Drain through a fine-mesh strainer, gently press pulp to release as much liquid as possible. Return liquid to blender and add half of the CBD honey syrup. Blend on high for another 20 seconds, add more CBD honey syrup to desired sweetness and blend again. Serve over ice in a Collins glass, top with a splash of tonic water and garnish with an edible flower, such as chamomile. Makes 4 servings.
To make CBD honey syrup: Combine equal parts honey (such as orange blossom) and water and simmer until combine. Cool and add desired amount of CBD tincture.
