Take Five Profiteroles

  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 4 slider-size pretzel rolls, split
  • 1 pint Ben & Jerry’s Half Baked ice cream
  • ½ cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup peanut brittle, crumbled
Heat oven to 350 F. Heat caramel sauce in a small pan or microwave oven; keep warm. Arrange rolls on a baking sheet; bake until warm, 3 to 4 minutes. Place bottom half into each of 4 dessert bowls. Top each with a large scoop of ice cream then add other roll. Add caramel sauce, chocolate chips and peanut brittle. Serve immediately. Makes 4 servings Recipe by Chef Phillip Foss, EL Ideas, Chicago
