Winter Tea with Infused Honey

Warming Winter Tea with Red Belly Honey

If your hands and feet are always cold, try this sweet tea. Goji berries, jujubes (red dates) and longan are among the most common traditional Chinese medicinal ingredients. This complementary combination is known for its heating effect and for improving circulation.

  • 6 cups water
  • 10 dried longans
  • 6 jujubes (red dates), halved
  • 2 tablespoons goji berries
  • 3 teaspoons Red Belly Honey

Combine water, longans, jujubes and goji berries in a saucepan. Heat to boil; reduce heat, cover and simmer gently, 1 hour. Add Red Belly Honey. Serve hot or chilled. Makes 2 servings.
